I really like Hornady's 265 grain jacketed flat-point (designed for the .444 Marlin) in the Ruger carbine and my Redhawk revolvers.

Now I want a Ruger #1 in .348. I am already tooled up to feed my Browning Model 71.

I have six #1 rifles in calibers from .35 Whelen to .458 Lott (the others are .375 H&H, .405 Winchester, .416 Rigby, and .45-70). I am thinking about adding a small bore rifle; I have my eye out for a nice example in .338 Winchester Magnum. One in .450-.400 nitro-express has tempted me a couple...
