    Mint H&R 9 Shot .22

It may seem unlikely, but H&R kept several parts compatible across several model changes so this swap may actually work. I have not researched the parts differences between the 999 sportsman and the 622 but both were available at the same time. I would look for a 999 “parts” gun and try it...

    Pistol cleaning

I finally tried balistol and I get barnyard/sewage aromas - not worth it even if It did clean well.

The LCP Max and Different Ammo -

The plastic (as opposed to stainless) guide rod is not flexible to protect the frame, it’s flexible because it’s plastic and less weight. The stainless guide rods add a little weight and can impart less drag on the recoil spring. In mag dump-stress tests the plastic guide rod is often the first...

    Ruger LCR 357 magnum ammunition.

The .357, 9mm and I believe the .327 LCR’s all have steel frames and are not any more susceptible to flame cutting the top straps than other Ruger models. The .38, 22lr, 22mag LCR’s have alloy frames.

    Speed Loaders

Speed bees are a bit large but they positively seat the rounds fully in the cylinder. This loader holds the rounds by spring tension so a dropped loader could dislodge some rounds.

    RCBS Summit Press ?

I have one and of my several presses I like it for reloading away from my bench. It’s not really portable since it is quite heavy, but with the short handle, it works on a table top because nothing protrudes below the base. It’s a decent press.

    Knife sharpening

I had a summer job at Beatrice meats (swift turkeys) and was a left sided back skinner for most of the summer. I was quick but eventually the knives needed grinding. I carried 3 steels coarse to smooth and kept my neighbors knives close to sharp all day but grinding was required eventually...

"Ruger LCR Revolver in 327 Federal Magnum, for Close Quarters Self Defense?"

Ok 327 = 6 shots, 22lr =8 shots. If you are loading down with the .327, you may be in the 22lr ballpark. Spend that $500 in ammo on 22lr and practice

    Regular vs. Magnum Primers

one of the differences is that magnum primers have a harder cup than standard, so if you are loading for a firearm with a weak or short fire control parts you may encounter a higher misfire rate. other than this I would not hesitate to swap them without load adjustment unless you were at max...
