The stainless Tactical is cataloged in Ruger's Law Enforcement Catalog. Not sure why it's reserved as an LE weapon. Spend enough time around Ruger Corporate, and nothing will surprise you. It is currently in production, and one of our local law enforcement distributors carries them.

I noticed that your rear sight is cranked way up on your AC556. I remember that I had to raise mine almost to it's upper limits to get a 50 yard zero.

That AC556 is just sick! Had a blued one back in 1985. Wish I still had it.
