I recently purchased a m92 Rossi w/octagon 24" barrel in SS. It shot well so I replaced the sights to something I could see well. It would not feed any ammo as in loading gate then from the mag tube to the barrel. I took it apart and it had never had a deburring tool near it so my hands ended...

I think if you make a decision of red or blue you will have the right color...don't overthink this! Work with the color of the wood box...

If you are not scoring the brass(which I had that issue once) than you are not using proper lube technique, you are not using enough lube, you are not using clean brass, you have an improperly made die...figure it out.

I have plenty of 32-20 brass or I might try turning it down...

I tried that but the brass is too thick to work in my old mod 92...maybe if you could use smaller bullets

After 50+ years of 30-30 I have never expanded case necks in one, I don't have the expander to do so if I wanted to. As others stated 4198 is ideal for this...Mobuck is correct although I only test fit the cases I take with me for Deadbuck hunting...
