i'm thinking it might be the trigger bar assembly...if you take the grip panels off the should be a loop "spring" try pulling that down and see if the slide will move forward, this might be the issue of why you are having double action issues........just a thought.

got a new set of rcbs dies and while setting them up on my 550b i had an issue with 425gr performance cast either not getting enough crimp to chamber (and probably hold the bullet) or slightly "crushing" the case to make it fit the chamber. i backed out the seating die to adjust the crimp and...
