I would take the Hogue grips

I recently contacted Eagle about building me a set of their Secret Service Grips for my Speed-Six and was told they were unable to do them.

Oh, I'd give $400 in a heartbeat, maybe even $450. I gave $340 for my Speed-Six, but $550 I'll have to sleep on.

Who makes a good boot type grip for the round butt Speed-Six, I'm looking for something with the back strap exposed and not extend below the grip frame, checkered and relativly thin. Any Ideas?

Maybe I just got a good one, not much different than a good double action revolver to me. I like mine.

I'd really like to find a good 4 or 6 inch Stainless Security-six. I've got a 4" blue and I recently give $340 for a 3" Speed-Six in Stainless. Ruger double actions are rare around here. I'd give $350 in a heartbeat for a nice one. I'd try to talk them down a bit.
