    Revolver Shotshells

I was wanting to make some snakeshot for my woods walks and have a 357 and 44. I know Speer makes a capsule but I can't get any. Do any of you have a way to make them from scratch. I've got Unique, 2400, and 231. I have a jar full of #9 shot. Thanks!

    Ruger American 30-06

Felt recoil is relative. I don't think it's too bad on the American. It's similar to a 12 gague shotgun.

240 gr. XTP/2400 powder Deer Load

I use 20.0gr of 2400 under a Sierra 240gr hollow point. It lets you know you're shooting a magnum! I have had good accuracy out to 100 yards with it in my Smith.

    Pumpkin Balls

I believe that guys used to cut "X's" in their slugs. They noticed that they seemed to be more effective.

Ruger American 30-06, What is the best bullet?

I've had good luck with 180 gr Sierra's over IMR 4350.

Need a Primer on 22LR Ammo

Right now---Any ammo you can find!!! Really-The other guys already said it!

9.mm plus 5.5 gr of uniquie

This is what I have found to be true too. Lighter loads stay in the barrel longer thus succumbing to the muzzle-flip. Heavier loads leave the barrel faster, not allowing time for the barrel rise to make a difference.

    Found something interesting

If you ever go to Sedalia, MO you can see how Sierra Bullets are made. You have the process right. They make the jacket then press the led core into it under extreme pressure. Make sure you call the manufacturer about your box of bullets. I'm sure they will want to find out the lot number and...

    Berdan primed 30-06 cases...what should I do?

Anything special I need to do to clean the gun, other than Hoppes?

    Berdan primed 30-06 cases...what should I do?

I was given about 100 30-06 cases that are berdan primed from 1954. The guy pulled the bullets to use for another project but thought I might want the cases. Should I load them up with some gallery loads (like unique and lead) or is there something else I could do with them? Or are they...

    P95 jamming, double-feeds, stovepipes - crappy ammo?

Did you have someone else shoot it to see if it did the same for them?

Average life of 45 ACP brass

Most pistol brass gets lost before it gets worn out. Additionally, I typically leave the range with more brass than I came with. 45acp is a common caliber and you will likely be able to pick up brass for free if you look around your local range.

    Brass Cleaning Question

I have read, but never seen evidence, that the residue will impregnate your barrel as you shoot casings that have the red dust. I think its probably not true, but I clean them again with corncob after I use tufnut just incase. YMMV

One Load For Pistol and Rifle

I have three loads I use in my various .44 mags. 240g MBC FP over 8.5g unique or 20.0g 2400. They also like 20.0g 2400 under a Sierra 240g HP. YMMV.
