I'm looking to buy the muzzle break from the gen 2 RPR if someone has one to get rid of.

I know there are several vendors offering bolt shrouds for the RPR. Who makes the best shroud, and should it be aluminum or titanium?

What rings are you using? What's their height, how does the cheek riser at that ring height?

Ruger told me today that they won't offer a barrel change service and if you have someone change it for you it will void their warranty. This seems stupid to me that they won't offer the service or have authorized service providers. I hope they change their position. Otherwise their flexible...

Again, the rub is that Ruger doesn't provide the service or offer authorized service providers so that it would be under warranty. That is my rub in short. Otherwise their marketed benefit of easy barrel replacement is very much another negative and not a benefit.

That true but many companies will provide those barrel change services at a cost of course. But that's the rub. They won't do the service.

Ruger indicates barrel changes are easy and quick for a gunsmith. So I thought it would be good to get one in .308, and change to another caliber like 6.5 later if I wanted. But Ruger won't do barrel changes and indicate the warranty is voided if a gunsmith makes the change. It seems odd thAt...
