well the bug has bitten me! before i bought my xd9 subcompact (two weeks ago) i had only shot a p95 and a 38 snub nose of my cousins. i always knew i would eventually want a gun of my own but back then i lived in IL. now that i have my xd and i have been to the range a few times...

generally is it better to wait for a gun show to purchase a pistol? im looking for a very particular xd and cant find it anywhere! wondering if i would have better model selection and price choices. i asked on xd talk and no one seemed to care to answer just curious if anyone has any...

just an idea of how i shot my first time out in about 8 yrs..... this was about 12 yds out and the shots outside the target were because the first two were center target and i didnt see them and tried to adjust (high right)
