Just an update. Gun shipped to Ruger on 8/11 and got it back today. They replaced the rear sight assembly and the pawl (had to look that one up). In the box was a copy of a picture of a target with 3 shots @ 15 yards from bench (test fire). Look forward to taking it out this weekend.

Decided to go with the Match Champion. It cost me $50 less than the Wiley Clapp would have and since I already have a 3" .357 (Model 65) I figured a 4 inch was the way to go.

The Ruger bug is biting me hard and I'm trying to decide between these 2 (and trying to avoid buying both). I have rented and shot the Match Champion and liked it. I've also seen the 3" Wiley Clap Talo (in stainless) online but have never shot it. My understanding is that they are a limited...

Actually, I am. I purposely shot only single action at a very close range (15 feet) and even tried from a rest. I had been shooting a 686 with .357s in the same session with no problems. I went back a 2nd day with the same issues. The rear sight has been moved as far left as possible. Still...

Long time reader of this board and decided to ask a question about the GP100 Match Champion. Shot one this weekend and loved it. My question is: will all accessories (grips, holsters) that work for the regular GP100s work on the Match Champion? Thanks.
