How long were these made, with old barrel markings?

    lanyard on SP101

I have a set of grips (not for sale, but I'll try to post some pictures) that came off of my daughter's SP. A group of these 2.25", .38s were brought back from a French gov't group. The guns all had import markings and grips that were modified in such a manner thst allowed access to a frame...

    New, to me, M77.

I have a K-4 on a 10/22. And was thinking of robbing it. I could get a second one, though. I, also, thought of a 2-7, in a Burris. I just did mount a 3-9 Burris on a 700 SPS .17 Fireball. I liked the quality of the scope.

    New, to me, M77.

Today I bought a late production (79-75XXX) tang safety M77, in .308. This rifle became interesting to me as a result of its condition and price. While the finish is pretty good and the stock is a not too pretty B&C synthetic; there was a certain allure. The $250, out the door price. The muzzle...

The barrel on my .45 Colt Redhawk (503-561XX) measures 4". So...Old Model-New Model, American Model-PC (Post Canadian)?

Mine would not pass a 240 grain Sierra JHC.

I checked my cylinder throats and they are too small. As soon as I can, I'll get in line and ream them.

I haven't measured the throats, yet. I was hoping the new guns didn't suffer as the older ones did.

M'BOGO, we must think alike. My un-fired safe Queen, an S&W 624, has been in my thoughts. But the Knight has come and he's a brute. Ruger sure seems to be doing a good job. Cylinder timing is pretty darn good, as is lock-up.

That's a good comment, concerning ammunition availability. However, I've got hundreds of cases (both calibers) and cartridges. My son (a 22 year old that would rather shoot Dad's ammo than load his own) shoots a .45 Blackhawk that his Grandpa owned. Even though I like the .44 and .45 about the...

to obtaining the perfect revolver yesterday. An iteration of a Redhawk long lusted after. Having admired so many custom beauties I took the easy way out. Searched the local gun show for a 4" in .44 Magnum, which is what I consider the do all revolver. CCW might be a little tough. Could not find...

    Hogue finger grip for SP101?

Wendy, I am totally OK with admitting that you are tougher than me. And easier to look at. :D Mike56, I have an extra pair. If you'd like to try a set, PM me your mailing address and I'll send these to you. If you don't like them, send them back to me. If you do, send me $20. Is that fair...

    My new (to me) SR9

That's some good thought, Michael. And a lot of what I gave, before purchase. I had the opportunity to look at the date on the "fingerprint" envelope and didn't note the date. This pistol does have the newer trigger. I believe it to be the latest iteration. That is why I posted, wondering about...
