Any Interest in My Old Model SBH?

It's great when a trade is made, and both sides are pleased. I got the short barrel, Bear protection I needed, and Dan got a long barreled gun that was too nice to cut. billyb

Any Interest in My Old Model SBH?

Sorry if you guys got that impression. Since the gun is not perfect, i.e. very slight line on the cylinder, blueing wear at side of muzzle, and a couple small marks on the grips. I didn't know if it was worth saving, or if the faults made it only a shooter. I had no idea if the gunbelt had any...

Sights for an Old Fart? - Can't see them good any more

On my Redhawk, I changed to the V notch rear, and the Gold bead front sight I bought from Ruger, and it worked great. Any Interest in My Old Model SBH?

I want to thank everyone that replied to my post. Sorry I have not replied to any one. My daughter in law has been rushed to the hospital (a 26 mile trip) everyday since Thursday, to give birth to our first grandson. I have been spending all of my time either driving to or from or sitting in a...

Any Interest in My Old Model SBH?

There is no stamping under the front of the trigger guard. If I had an original parts set, I would have my smith convert it back. Problem is, I am only looking for a shooter, and I know someone has more use for this one than I do.

Any Interest in My Old Model SBH?

I bought this gun sight unseen. I knew it had the holster, and box, but when I picked it up yesterday, I got a pleasant surprise. The gun is a SBH made in early 1970. It has been converted to a transfer bar by Ruger, and the original parts were not returned. The gun was described as 90+...

    Old Model Super Blackhawk

I just picked up an Old Model SBH today. Serial number dates it to very early 1970. It came with a tooled period TV fast draw type rig, and original Ruger box. My gunsmith said it looked to be new except for some holster wear on the side of the muzzle, and some marks on the grips. We pulled the...
