New lcp straight out of the box. I of course cleaned it well before range trip. First 100 rounds every magazine second or third round is ftf. Hung up on feed ramp. Same with five different ammo brands. I expected some issues but not to this extent. Polished the feed ramp today. Did not help...
Really just one load for both. Or I can load whatever works best in each. I will be hunting with the Rossi. I have been told that the Rossi 92s can handle the Ruger loads without a problem. Just looking for the best fps for the XTP bullets to expand properly. Id say around 1000fps.
I have a Bisley Blackhawk in 45C and a Rossi Model 92 lever action w/24" barrel. I looking for a good recipe for deer. I have tons of 250g XTP bullets, Unique and Titegroup powder. Im thinking maybe 9g Unique, but cant find any data. What will it take to get the XTPs to expand well enough to...

45 COLT!!!
Can do anything a 44 can do with a MANS size bullet. Theres just nothing better for a single action than a cartridge well over a hundred years old.
I have the Bisley Blackhawk 7.5" in 45 Colt and I love it. I also considered the hunter model but I didnt like the scope rail on it. To me a single action should be shot with open sights. Nothing looks worse than a scope on a single action revolver. If you reload I would suggest you take a look...
