Can anyone tell me if Hogue makes a grip for a 50th Anniversary 357 Blackhawk? I get all kinds of confused trying to cypher out this on their site.

I have the RAR Standard in 243.... Have shot 85gr, 87gr, 100 gr ammo and all of them can be covered by a quarter @ 100yrds. I don't ever see getting rid of it. Read: "Love it!"
I picked up my 243 RAR last year, took it to the range with 100gr Winchester PowerPoints and after 8 rounds tuning the scope at 100 yrds, I had a 1/2" group :) . I'm VERY happy with the performance of this rifle. I'm confident that you'll enjoy yours!

The 50th has an all steel frame as opposed to aluminum alloy frame. I believe that the 50th is also built on a medium frame.

From what I see... a stainless fluted barrel, laminate wood stock with "accustock".... no scope bases price tag(MSRP) of $600 more (I'd buy another something with that)... and 4 more pounds to lug around. LOL

Back on track... I have one (243) that just pleases the heck outta me... the magazine has never failed and since their debut on the market, I have heard of very few complaints about it. 6.25lbs of very accurate hunting (not target) rifle is really hard to beat. I'm sure...
I have one in 243 also... Everything about the gun has functioned flawlessly, smooth as silk... I would call Ruger too
By the way, I LOVE it and wonder why it has taken me so long to go "243" ;)
