I just traded into a 3 screw SBH with a 7.5 barrel. It has a lot of honest wear on the finish but very minimal rust or pitting. Grips are in good shape, and it shoots fantastic and accurate. Should I send it to Ruger for a refurbish? I know they will convert it but I believe I can take it apart...
All the new grips showed up today. So I had to do the installs and get a few pics. Turned out great! The gp and sp came from chigs and the SBH elk came from an eBay grip maker, very nice!
Right now I'm shooting. 240s xtp over 24gr h110. In my Redhawk. Which should be fine with this mount. But only worried about Trying 300 gr xtp. I have no problem keeping my loads lighter for hunting just wondering if others have had issues with this mount I guess.
Well I did some horse trading and ended up with a as new Ruger super blackhawk. 7.5" barrel. Beautiful gun and will be used for hunting. My older eyes demand I use a scope. I have others with red dots but I am more accurate with a scope. I went to order the no drill no tap mount from Weigand...
Just bought a brand new gp100 6" stainless. I took it apart to do a little polishIng and cleaning. It was greasy and sticky from factory. Smoothed right up after a good clean. Also picked up a red hawk 44 mag 2023 and it was the same.
