Recently bought a SP 101 in .327 Federal magnum with the 4.2" barrel although I prefer a 3" am hoping to find a 3" and replace the original. Have contacted Ruger where there are none of the 3" available and appears that there may be none produced in the future, of course I am not sure of this...

Have the issues with the cylinders of the M-SP 101 been resolved, most of the posts were several years old and I am not able to determine from the older posts if the problem is solved?
