.... if only they acted like rabbits,,,,,, hahaha !! :D
Shoot I only have 3 Rugers one 357/9mm one 44 sbh and one new model Vaquero 45. All in the 4 and 5/8"
I have a lot of catching up to do!
;)
Y'all, thanks for the answers and opinions. It was what I was looking for.
I have decided (unless a nice Blackhawk pops up) that I'm just going to stick with my new model Vaqureo for 45. That way I don't get loads mixed up for it. I can load it to 850 or my standard load at 750 fps and just...
I know I want one or the other in 45 with the 4" or 4 5/8" barrel. I'm looking for one to shoot warmer than standard Colt loads in.
I like them both but will only get one. I have holsters for the Blackhawk so I'm a bit more in favor of that but the swing out cylinder of the Redhawk is going...
Its a nice cowboy set-up.
I've been totin' for a few hours yesterday and today. With 250 or 255 gr bullets and 6 gr of Titegroup it shoots very well with easy recoil.

Actually I appericiate the question. I'm running my reloads in this one and I "think" they are running around 900 fps.
So far its a very fun gun to shoot. I even got a holster with it a COWS next I need a horse and I'm ready to move back west.
Ha!
I got this one because I knew it was exactly what I wanted. 'Course if a 5.5" had showed up first.....
I now have my sights on a 4 5/8" Vaquero 45 Colt!!! 8)
Wheelgunner,
That is a sharp looking sixshooter! :) I've asked member 41 mag to set me up with some longer stocks for my 4 5/8" sbh. It, like yours came to me possibly never shot and will be a favorite for packing in the woods.
