First time poster, but I've been following along for awhile now. Rev, I know you're probably going to have a pretty strong opinion here (seriously, I've started trying to find threads you haven't posted in, it's difficult  ) I'm on a waiting list for a sr1911, and the dealer can't give me any sort of time frame, but his price is $590. Just got off of the phone with another dealer who quoted a friend $600, but when I called he denied that and quoted me $620+tax each.
The $30 difference isn't the end of the world to me, but I'll be buying both of the sr1911's he can get his hands on, which makes an even $60 price jump from a half hour ago when my buddy was at his house. (Yes, he's licensed as a FFL Class 7 Manufacture/dealer, and selling out of his home)
So, RugerForum, what's your take on this? Would you stick to the $600 he quoted, or take it and run?
Thanks
