• Beautiful 28-2 ugly brother of the 27-2, same thing but not shiny. Looking for trades in quality semi autos in the $950 range. Will send more pictures upon request. No marks whatsoever. Any marks you think you see are either glare from camera or some extraterrestrial force.
  S&W 28-2 4in. Original stocks and a extra pair of wood ones. Excellent condition. No box or paperwork. 1970s manufacturer date. Pinned and recessed, they no longer make these. No Hillary hole.

Great gun - They sold these as the "Highway Patrolman". They were more popular among the working cops than the Trooper MKIII. I felt when Colt brought out the cheaper MKIII S&W had to reduce their price too and could not bring themselves to modify their excellent action so they saved money by not putting all the handwork into mirror polishing and deep bluing.
