NICE Ruger--saw a RUGER ADD about a guy killing a big black bear that had pulled down their tent and was about to maul them --it was a .44-40 cal. Vaq. 8) 8)

Carry some shotshell capsules w/#9's upfront. makes short work of rattlers. Dispatched an occassional deer/antelope caught in the fence w/ broken legs [also have fence tool to cut them out of the fence if needed]. A handgun is necessary and comforting. Dr.C

Nice vaquero, have one just like it in .44 mag. I wouldn't sell it for no price. You have a fantastic gun for those canyons. I would also feel like an old cowboy out there with the 44-40, if I could!
