Hey Rod...don't know if you know this or not, but those '59's also have the distinction of being the last guns that I can remember before this Louisville bunch that were fresh NIB in their split shippers as well! Lynn Laudise got into these in the '80's. There were two or three #59's, two or three #65's and the #101 .357 flattop, all NIB in the split shippers. Lynn was the first to split those open to see what they were...a total of 6 guns. Funny thing about those, I got into a bach of old Shotgun News issues from the 1958 to 1960 time period and in a display ad in one of those issues, those identical 6 guns were listed by a dealer in Florida. When Lynn got them he said they came from the very same source. Never did figure out why one individual didn't decide to grab the #101 .357...would have been a good one to go with his #100. Don't know where 101 is today either.
