Just curious about the trigger rest on the SR9, how does it feel to you? Talking new production pistols, is it similar to a Glock, or a Smith and Wesson M&P or is it a different animal all together?

I have handled a couple at some local stores, but was told NO when I asked if I could dry fire the pistol, so I can't get a good feel for the trigger or the reset.

I have been thinking about a SR9 for a while and figured folks here would have experience with other brands and be able to give me a comparison report as to trigger feel and the reset. Is it a tactile and audible click like a Glock or more just the "silent" reset like the Smiths?

Thanks in advance.

It's an audible click. I can't compare it to a Glock because I don't know how they are, but it's a positive, and audible click.

The construction of the trigger, trigger bar, and internals are fairly similar to the way a Glock operates. The SR series has a more distinctive break to the trigger than a factory Glock though.
