I recently bought a unfired SR9 OD. My first problem is it fails to feed on the first round out of the magazine. Unless there is only one in said magazine (just tested). In the picture below, as low quality as it is you can see on the shell where it has been catching. I've fired it with 17, 15, and 10 rounds in the mag with no hang ups other then that first round. Has been tested with a HP round as well as a few brands of FMJ and the result is always the same.
My other "concern" is that, and excuse me for lack of knowledge, the two tabs above the feed ramp on the barrel seem to be taking a beating every outing. Is this just normal ware for breaking in or is this a start to the penning(?) I've read about.
Just looking for suggestions on how to correct these problems. Thank you.
