SR 223 & SR 762 gas system question

I have the SR556E and it's the same as any AR15 type rifle, just pull the charging handle back and it will eject your spent round and then let the charging handle loose and it will feed and chamber the next round from the magazine.

As mentioned above, same as normal/gas impingement 15. In the event you get a stubborn one/stuck case, etc.,
method I was taught to aid in removing is to rap butt stock downward on bench, something solid, etc. and at same time grip charging handle and pull as you rap butt downward. Usually will bring out stuck case. On Garand, M14 or even Mini 14 you can use your heel to stomp with shoe sole/heel op rod to extract stuck case, but can't do that on 15's, nothing to stomp on. CAUTION: If live round stuck in chamber, make sure bore is pointed away from you and others as you remove cartridge. A stuck case or stubborn one is not that uncommon at matches using 15's, gas or piston version.
