For your consideration is my 44 Special built by Andy Horvath. I procured the three screw 357, a S&W 29 barrel (5 3/4" now), and Qualite grip frame and sent them to Andy many years ago. Here is the result of his efforts. To me the best part of this gun is his treatment of the hammer, Andy has no equal there. I've fired the gun about fifty times, many years ago. Andy made the cocobolo grips that fit spectacularly. The action is the smoothest, sharpest four clicks imaginable. His transition of the top strap from barrel is one of a kind. The trigger, pins, and screws are fire blued, not nitred. I'm selling this because I take too much care when shooting it and it just sits. It needs a new home, yours. the gun is located in Eustis, Florida. The price is $3,700.00 shipped which is a tick above what the work, the gun, the barrel, and the grip frame cost. The serial number puts it past the original FT. On the other hand, does it really matter?
