I have a 1955 (not 1957, I stand corrected) Ruger Single Six "Type 2" Flat Gate 22 LR I am selling for an elderly friend. The gun is in very good condition for 67 years old. The bluing is at about 90+% as there a few areas on the ejector housing and internally behind the cylinder where the bluing has thinned over the chrome/molybdenum frame. These flaws are very difficult to see in normal lighting, however please see the high resolution pictures as they tell the best story. There is a small amount of muzzle wear on the left side of the barrel. The bore is bright and shiny without pitting, and there is hardly a cylinder turn ring. The action functions perfectly, and the gun looks to be used very little. Please PM me for additional pictures.
