Yeah, thanks . I will just wait till tomorrow and see if it's still there when I show up. This guy sells lots of guns and He does a good business . Takes in lots of trades . I am going to take your word on the 1965 date.

I can't get it to work on Rugers site. 😕

Scroll down after you put in the s/n and get the message it's not there.
Open the window and select Single Six Magnum

The older guns are there.

22 MAG I believe
Magnum Marked Frames which some came with the extra 22LR cylinder.
Look on the left side of the frame to see what it is. Ruger made this stuff eazy by stamping the frame as to what the gun is.
Magnum stamped frame SN 300001 to 394740

Single--Six Convertibles
162XXX to 833352, 20-00001----21-56105

This one 427084 looks like a 1965/1966 model that could be a single or extra cylinder Single--Six

The gun was converted. The cylinder was a 22. Lr cylinder. Not quite as nice as the pic. Some minor rust here and there . My neighbor rode along with me and Ended up buying it . He asked me what I thought , I told him something doesn't jive as it should be marked 22 mag . The dealer said he took it on trade ,never fired it . Not sure what the final price really was as he bought some powder ,loaded factory ammo etc. This dealer loves cash and discounts "package deals " . Any way it has a new owner 😉
