This was a lot of fun. There were 8 stages, but my video camera ran out of juice.

Awesome shooting Chip! Looks like you had a blast and the SR ran great. Always good to hear. Look forward to seeing more from you all at Top Shot and more SR trigger time on video. Smooth is fast and fast is smooth, natural edge doesn't hurt either :D

So what Galloway parts are you using on your SR9?

I have the Galloway aluminum recoil guide rod and spring set, as well as the aluminum striker indicator. The slight addition of weight and the rod help with recoil, and the striker indicator really cleans up the grit in the trigger. Ghost ultimate trigger bar, hi-viz front sight, and springs from the Galloway trigger set round it out.

It's very humbling to watch her shoot. She's only been shooting 3 months...I'd like to think that my instruction helps her, but the truth is, she's a natural.

Found the SR9 because she wanted to start shooting competitively, and we shot everything from Glocks to custom 1911s and STI 2011s. The STI was a little pricey....OK, a LOT pricey. The SR9 fit her hand perfectly, and after I shot hers, I was sold....it's very accurate, and easy to control.
