Refinish LC9 slide

Hi all. The finish on my LC9 slide has worn off. I found a paint with ceramic in it, a header/exhaust paint, that requires a multi-step cure process; 30 min @250, cool 30, 30 min @400, cool 30, then 30 min @600, then cool 30. It is supposed to be resistant to both oil and gas.

Will a 30 minute cure at 600 degrees hurt the slide in any way?
