I apologize in advance and understand if you moderators delete this as a duplicate, but I myself read this section yet seldom the CCW section. Anyhoo, I wanna CCW my beautiful half shroud 6 inch GP100 in a home made cross draw thumb break belt holster. With a cooler weather jacket I think as a BIG man (6'5" 296 pounds) I can pull it of. We're an open carry state, so if it peeks out once in a while, no big deal. Anyone here do this? FWIW, my GP is absolutely beautiful, tight and perfectly fitted revolver. It's just a joy to hold and behold folks. Thanks. Don

Go for it!. I carry a 4" GP-100 in a Simply Rugged Sourdough during the "cold" weather weeks here in Florida.

I am 5' 10" and weighed 170 when I had my 4 inch barrel GP. I did carry concealed occ in a Don Hume hi ride. I am short waisted and found concealment a PITA. At the time I was in LE and changed to a snub .38 for ccw. That left full size for open carry.
Good luck. You are larger and can probably do OK.
