Pondering the Difference - Speed Six v Service Six

Will somebody please educate me on the differences between the Police Service Six and the Speed Six? I mean, other than the obvious rear sights or lack there of... Hope this hasn't been discussed ad nauseum. H.

Edit, whoops I wuz thinking SECURITY Six with the adjustable rear sights. H.

Service Six...Fixed sights, square butt.

Speed Six...Fixed sights, round butt.

Now, continuing the refresher...

Security Sixes have Adjustable sights, and square butt...But not always!

Early Security Sixes were available as either fixed sight, or adjustable sights, until Ruger decided to rename the fixed-sight version as a Service Six. And, there just happens to be a scarce few Security Sixes with round butts.
