Not mine. A friend acquired this when his father passed away. I told him to get a letter on it. Best I could tell it was made around 1959?? I don't know if I remember seeing grips that color before. Anyone have knowledge about them I can pass on?

Nice old SIngle Six from most likely late 1958 and yes the hard rubber ( plastic) grips will turn various colors due to ultraviolet light and the metal color appears to have a weird color of oxidation,maybe they used some off the wall chemical to clean the gun BUT the cylinder is still blue,as is the ejector housing...interesting, but still a nice old model....(y)
the serial number being earlier (lower) than the Lightweight model series "maybe" someone tried to get the frame to look like a ''tricolor" light weight?:unsure::cool:
