New to the Mini-14

Hello,
I've owned a Mini-30 for years, it's always been one of my favorite rifles. Purchased a Mini-14 for shooting at my backyard range. I purchased the tactical with the matt stainless finish. Just started testing loads to see what thing likes for bullet weights and powders.

You can't go wrong with a mini 14 or a 30 for that matter

In my experience,1 in 9" twist mini's like 62-69 grn bullets. As milsurp type ammo goes, PMC X-Tac M855 is about as good as it gets for these guns.

Maybe you can answer have a Mini 14/30 need to replace stock series 189 will a series 180 stock fit without any adjustments.
