I had an unfired 3 screw .357 4 5/8" Blackhawk that I foolishly sold earlier this year. The other day, I came across this nice gently used 1968 era sample on Turnbull's web site for a really great price.

I pick up the gun tomorrow from my dealer so I borrowed these photo's from Turnbull's ad:

I already ordered some new grip frame screws from Jack First since some of the photo's I received from Turnbull showed a little buggering on the screw heads. I was also assured that this gun did not have the transfer bar conversion. Hopefully it was not "upgraded" by Ruger and then changed back.

I really liked dealing with Turnbull on this gun. It was a consignment gun and not a restored sample but, just the thought that I got it from Turnbull makes it more valuable to me.

I really have to send at least one gun to Turnbull for a restoration before I get much older.

Really nice looking 3 screw.
Bought mine new in 1968, and gifted it to my son for his 50th birthday since that was his birth year.
Missed it so much, I recently bought a NM BH just because…
