Howdy. Being a Blue Steel and Walnut dinosaur, honestly, this is not my type of rifle. So asking myself: "Why?"
My answer is: "I don't have one and it looks like a great toy!"

Picking up a Ruger PC Carbine, catalog # 19100 tomorrow.

I reload light loads for two 9mm 1911's and two Smiths - a 439 and a 5906. ALL spit my light reloads out
without a hiccup.

The current load is 125 grain cast RN with 3.2 grains of Titegroup.

Those that have used lighter reloads in their PC Carbine, do you think this PC carbine will feed and spit them
without a problem............... or will the recoil spring be too strong? I want the rifle to be reliable and would like to use the same reloads in all pistols and this rifle.

THANKS and have a great week, Bo in Western NC

I run a very mild load from mine; 3.6 Titegroup with a 124 grain Berry's Hybrid. Gun functions 100%, and groups are around a half inch at 25 yards. I suspect your load will work, but as others have mentioned, be aware of the possibility of a bullet failing to exit the barrel and don't go rattatattat until you're sure it's getting sufficient velocity.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as my wife and I like ours...fun gun for sure.
