Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but why aren't you looking for a .41 cylinder instead of a .357 one?

There are probably 100 357 cylinders to every 41 mag cylinder. Since I would want to uniform there throats anyway, might as well get tight chambers reamed for a few dollars more.

If I am not mistaken, the 357 cylinder will be the same diameter as the 41 but shorter in length in the body. I've found 30 carbine cylinders seem to work for conversion to 41 and they are longer length if I remember correctly.

I agree with Robb. I've had numerous .41 magnums built and the .357 cylinders aren't long enough..
