In letting a Bell and Carlson forearm stock?

Making a Ruger #1 into a .22 Creedmoor with a Brux 26" Heavy Varmint Barrel
So from what I have researched I will have to do some inletting in this forearm
for the barrel to fit.

Has anyone done this, and if so, how hard was it, did you need anything other than
a normal inletting tool?
