Help Dating a MK 2 Government Target Model

Picked up a nice one today, with box and test target. 210-31475, can someone please date this one for me. Thanks

Might need a letter from Ruger to pin down the exact date. Per RENE "NOTE that the s/n range of 210-00001 to 210-50000, was assigned to the "U.S." marked and non-"U.S." marked MK-678G model from 1984 through 1988."

Thanks Frank. I read that also, in my RENE book. Was just hoping someone might be able to decipher a date on these early ones.

Thanks for the input. I have found other reference to the 84 date too. I am curious as to the exact year ie. 84, 85, 86, 87 or 88. My thought was that, the 210 prefix were produced in each of the 5years? With the earlier serial numbers, say the first 20K were US marked? Then the later serial numbers in the later years?
