Anybody can share experiences and results?
Need some loads for my new Hawkeye Standart 300WM Lefthanded.

Actually I´ve got Alliant R19/R22 powders and Hornady´s 165 SST bullets to develop some starting loads.

Thanks.-

I just got a 300 Hawkeye too and need the same information. Shot a few rounds with some RL22 and 180 Sierra Gamekings. Seemed to shoot well, but always cruising for better loads.

Well, there are mountains of load info out there for .300 Win Mag, but I'll share what's worked well in my M77 MkII (sorry not a a hawkeye). I don't use either R19 or R22, but I've had good success with 150 grain partitions over 77.5 grains of H4831SC and 180 grain Sierra Gamekings over 76 grains of IMR 7828.

Standard disclaimers apply. These are my loads in my rifle. I believe the 77.5 grains of H4831SC is actually 0.5 grains over the max load in some manuals (but not Hogden's website), so don't use these as starting points. But, both loads give me about 1 MOA and are by far the best combinations I've found for my rifle.

All my old .300 mag data is packed away in storage, but I remember that a M70 I had decades ago was partial to H4831 and H-450. 180 and 220 gr groups of -1"...
Not sure if H450 is even made anymore.... :?
