For Sale in TX- Harrington & Richardson Company Classic Carbine in .45 Long Colt caliber. Light, compact single shot rifle with nicely figured checkered walnut stock. Blued 20" barrel with adjustable buckhorn rear and bright bead front sight. Case colored receiver and butt plate. Total round count is < 25. Rifling and bore as new . There is one light handling mark on left side of stock above butt plate (see pics). Original box, manual, and papers. This was a short run and is hard to find in this condition. A nice companion to your .45 Colt revolvers.

$675 shipped FFL to FFL in CONUS. USPS Money Order. All rules and regs apply. FTF possible in the Dallas, Tx area.

Dave - I think these were made in 2008. I purchased this one new in 2012 after searching for some time. There are guys on the Graybeard Outdoors Forum (https://www.go2gbo.com/forums/#h-r-talk.11) that would know.

Yes, the receiver is drilled and tapped with 3 screws for mechanical mounts. I once contemplated mounting a Smith Enterprise long range ladder sight in the rear dovetail to make a short, handy howitzer that could lob a heavy bullet waaaaay out there but other projects relegated this carbine to the gun safe for the past 11 years. I still think it would be a fun project.
