First years of Ruger stainless 22 convertible

Can y'all tell me when Ruger started making the .22 convertible in Stainless steel?

we always thought it was in the latter part of 1973 when the new models came out, exactly when maybe Chad can give us a more definitive date, or better yet serial number range ,,as I thought it was in the mid #62 prefix guns, being the "KNR series"........

Could be. I always thought the first Ruger stainless was in 1973 as well. Not sure where I heard that, but if I get a chance later today I'll look through some books and see what I can find.
