Today at an estate sale, I picked up a "T" series Browning Hi-Power. This 1967 pistol was a good price at $500. Besides, goes with my other "T". :D

I bought one about 6 months ago! I wanted a 1911 in 9mm. My buddy told me to get a hi power. I usually don't listen too well but I did that time. Man, what a pistol. If I knew then, what I know now, that would have been my first pistol.

Back in 1972 I bought a very unusual Browning at the Columbus OGCA show. It was a pristine Fabrique Nationale with two magazines. Both had the pistol's serial number stamped on the bottom of the mag. There was also a leather flap holster. This dealer had about a 100 of these pistols and I got to sort through them all looking for a winner. Germany dumped all these pistols on the American market when all their Military and police departments switched back to the Walther P-38. Believe it or not I paid $75.00 for this gem. One of the better pistols I ever owned.
