I use a vibrator tumbler to clean all my brass. I use a lot of range brass. Clean shiny brass will not scratch the dies and it easier to spot cracks. The brass looks fantastic, too.
My scale of choice is a small digital Franklin scale. I weigh the primed brass, drop the powder and weigh again. With handgun ammo, I don't weigh every single case.

For handgun you don't need to trim unless extreme accuracy is needed or you're using a progressive press and the load is hot.

Tumbler? I posted my method in another of your topics (no stainless pins) but here is the tumbler I got for wet cleaning brass. You don't have to spend on this item, you can do it manually. But having a machine makes it where you can work on other projects while the brass is getting cleaned.

I also have a Lyman dry media tumbler LIKE THIS but I do not prefer the mess of the dusty media nor picking the media out of the primer pockets.
