I suppose anything is possible though 45 acp is more conducive to a blow back action not a gas operated like the mini. It is therfore highly unlikely.

You'd basically have to redesign the gun, which in the end would mean that it would no longer be a Mini at all, it would be something else...probably more along the lines of Ruger's PC efforts.

A Ruger PPC carbine would be a lot easier. All that would be need would be a 45 barrel assembly, a new bolt face, a different weight in the bolt, and a Ruger and Glock magazine adapter. Seems very simple. Bob!!

Sure anything's possible! But a mini14 would be a complete redesign. The PCC would be a barrell/chamber and magazine well change-almost a DIY. But if you want something today try the HI-Point, less than 1/2 the price of a PCC and available (in 9mm as well, 10mm sellout).

You need a H&R Reising 60. They're a blast to shoot if you can find one.

And way cooler than a Mini!

I'd rather see a Mini 14 in 30 Carbine, but that's me.

FWIW, as another poster stated, the Hi-Point in 45 is a lot of fun!!

Well anything is possible no matter how unlikely. The PC9 would be easy to chambe for .45 or 10mm though. Or checkout the HiPoint & Aero both in 45 and 10mm as well as 45.

Just asking... is a Mini-45 possible?

The bolt work alone would be cost-prohibitve, and then...

Look for, say, a Marlin camp carbine in 45acp. Takes 1911 mags.
Wisk Kel-Tec would design one or maybe the folding guns.
