Commander Sight Questions

I am now the newest member of the front sight club. Ruger has a new one in the mail, however I'm looking to upgrade.

I've decided on a 10-8 performance U notch and a Wilson combat gold bead.

My measurements are this:
Rear =.325
Front = .210

Those of you with CMDs, would you please measure yours and post your results? I'd like to make sure I measured correctly.

The second question I have is that I've seen a few people say their commanders shoot low at 25 yards and have gone to a shorter front sight. Can any of you confirm? I've never shot mine that far.

I just measured mine, top of slide to top of sight:

Rear - 0.3281
Front - 0.2185
