Aesthetically it appears very well balanced. Be nice if they offered it in .45. In any case, I like it a lot!

I gather from other boards that a number of new Redhawk configurations are supposed to be coming out. Also, evidently the 4.2" ones are being produced as the various websites are showing .44 and .45 caliber ones for sale as new with recent shell casing enclosures. About time Ruger come out with some new configs to shake things up a bit. Now, if they only would come out with a 2.75" adjustable sighted .357 GP100.

Hope it will become available in .45
Is this the item that we're talking about?

Yes it is ! Lipseys website confirms that by stating it's a Talo distributor exclusive. This configuration looks pretty sweet to me. I'll step up to the plate and get me one of these if available in .45 Colt.

Lipsey's says the MSRP is $999. I am betting when they are available that the asking price will be higher.

Very nice Redhawk there. It kills me how Ruger doggedly keeps the Redhawk alive and even makes distributor exclusive versions but refuses to let us have at least one Six series variant.

-- Is the pictured gun a custom work, not any factory offering ? That might explain alot.

In fact Ruger's site offers no Redhawks once again (currently), not even any "distributor special". If Lipsey's is advertising it (the 2.75" 44 Magnum), Ruger doesn't seem to know anything about it?
I am left wondering whether there is any production scheduled or if the line equipment is being re-purposed? Was the limited 2014 production actually "the cleanup run"???

Ruger knows, it's very simply just NOT OUT YET.

Give it a month or two. It's coming.
