I'm just saying that my Cimarrons feel closer to a Colt than anything else I own, Ruger included. I happen to prefer the latter for extended shooting sessions, but appreciate the former for what they are.
My .38 actually can be carried safely with six, but requires the base pin be pushed forward a notch to fire. And yes, it is remarkably accurate.
Whatever the cch treatment, it comes off fairly easily.
The 1860 may have the smoothest action of all my revolvers, I just hate
the cylinder engraving.
Some day I'll have to pop for a conversion cylinder.
