Chronograph recommendations?

I like my Chrony F1. Simple to use. Backed it up with another brand chronograph and both read close enough the same, so plenty accurate for what I do. Have an adjustable camera tripod to set it on. Nice and compact as it folds in half. Just write down the velocity after each shot. Have a notebook for that.
All stats, I get from a spreadsheet when I get home (AVG, SD, ES, Max, Min) .

Having seen about all of 'em in use over the past forty years I will stick with the OEHLER, HANDS DOWN, and nothing else. Worth every red cent.
I've enjoyed the F1 by Shooting Chrony for quite a many years now.
The F1 Master is nicer in order to have the display at the bench.
Read the reviews of the different ones and even go to their sites and see which impresses you most.

I've used my dad's old Oehler 33 for years and it's a great chronograph. Recently though I picked-up a Chrony F1 Master and it's dead-on. Easy to use, reasonably price, and accurate. In fact, I tested it against the Oehler on the same day and they were within a hair of each other.

I got an Oehler years ago & I have owned & used a few others. I will never sell my Oehler,, it's the best. But it'll cost more than the $100 you want to spend.
If that's your budget, buy the Chrony.
If that's your budget, buy the Chrony.

OEHLER for me, George.
My old Chrony has survived a couple of bullet clips and is still running. I think it's about due for upgrade since I'm getting a few odd/no readings and it's becoming more sensitive to the amount of light. It may just be full of dust since my furnace is a serious dust producer/recycler.
I'll buy another Chrony when I replace the old one. Keep in mind, there are two types of chronographs--those that have been shot and those that haven't been shot, YET. This affects the amount of $$ I'm willing to spend on something that sits so close to the flight of the bullets.

I have a F1 Chrony, but if I ever wear this one out I'll be getting a PACT to replace it. The CED ProChrono is a good machine too. PACT is made in the USA.
I tried a Chrony, the Beta Master, and it began giving erratic readings. Got a CED Millenium and love it. If I were you, I would base my decision on WHERE you will be using it. If at a public range, the chrono's that sit in front of the bench are a headache to clear/reset because you have to wait for a break in shooting.
I really like the CED because the keypad is easy to use and if I happen to hit a screen, a new one is less than $40 plus they have available infrared screens which can be used in any light including total darkness...if you're so inclined to shoot in the dark!

+1 on the ProChrono by CE. Haven't utilized it for .41 testing but it's handled 5.7x28 testing. It's close to your price point, especially if you buy when Midway (if you buy thru Midway) has a coupon for $10 off $100 or free shipping, etc.
OEHLER is pretty much top o' the line, but you'll need to save a few more bucks as already noted it's about double your price point.
