The family and I took a trip down to Arizona in April to see the Grand Canyon and take in a Giants/Diamondbacks game as well as visit an old friend in Prescott. While in Prescott I was able to stop by the shop of Bill Ruger's Grandson and got to chat with him for a bit. While there and perusing through the store I spotted this pair of Walnut Grips. I thought the grain was exceptional and purchased them for a gun I had in mind. I'm not sure how much more Ruger related items he has left but I'm pretty sure these were a pair that was perhaps meant for a special gun. I knew just the gun. I lost my Dad last February and I know he would have approved of the grain and wow effect I think these grips have. So, here is my Dad's Ruger with a pair of grips right from the Ruger Family. RIP Pops.

Gary, I am sorry about the loss of your father last February. I think the combination of those beautiful Ruger family grips and that gun are a wonderful tribute the the memory of your father.
