Yesterday, I picked up a 1959 44 Flattop at the local gun show. All original, SN 157xx. Has a 6 1/2 " barrel. In good condition with a little bluing wear on the cylinder. Purchased from the son of the original owner. $545, but I got to wait for the background check (10 days) to take possession. I am pleased.

Washington state law…..
Must be 21
Must have proof of completion of firearm training
Cannot purchase "Assault" style weapons
Cannot buy or sell high capacity mags
Must complete a background check

When you go to pick up the firearm from your FFL licensed dealer there is an $18 fee payable to the state.

I have 65 years experience handling and shooting all types of firearms.
I have a current hunting license.
I have had a concealed carry permit for 40 years.
I am a life member of my NRA affiliated gun club.
I used to be a firearms instructor for young people.

I think I am qualified and luckily received approval to receive my firearm……in 10 business days.
